More than just a drop on a hot stone
Monday November 3rd, 2025
Our new program to improve the quality of education in rural schools in the Department of Tarija is not limited to upgrade and equip school infrastructure in communities that send their kids to our “Weekly Boarding with Indigenous Host Mothers” in Tantaguazu. This year, for example, we are able to improve the water supply of the village of Tentapiao.
Lacking safe and clean water, children frequently suffer from intestinal and stomach infections, and personal hygiene is a troublesome affair. With the help of our friends and sponsors, we have already been able to provide every household in the village with an individual water connection, and we hope to finish works on the distant water source and main pipeline before the end of the year.
