Living and surviving with the coronavirus in Bolivia
Tuesday March 31st, 2020

Bolivia was not spared from the global coronavirus pandemic. There are currently exit restrictions across the country to try to contain the virus outbreak. Public life was reduced to a minimum with the “Health Emergency” program. Our projects are also affected and try to adapt as best as possible to the new situation in the country.
Our team from the Public Access program in Yanacachi supports the #YoMeQuedoEnCasa (I stay at home) campaign and continues to work online. In addition, our reporter Oscar published through his WhatsApp account that he will always be available to citizens.
The teachers of the Technical Training program for Migrant Women in El Alto try to transmit the content of the online courses until further notice. Meanwhile chat groups are used to receive and correct exercises.
