29 Years Fundación Pueblo and Start of Semester in El Alto
Saturday February 29th, 2020

In February we completed the preparations for the new semester of our Technical Training program for Migrant Women in El Alto. Participants can choose from 13 different courses to improve their opportunities in the labor market. The program, like last year, will focus on courses that will raise awareness of women’s non-traditional occupations. For example, this year the participants will be able to attend the courses of “Basic masonry, plumbing and ceramic installation” or “Repair of household appliances”. The transversal courses that they will offer, in addition to violence prevention and reproductive health, will give the opportunity to educate themselves more in the use of social networks.
In February we also celebrate the anniversary of the Pueblo Foundation. The foundation for 29 years is committed to the particularly disadvantaged rural population in Bolivia.
